Would you like to know the trick to achieving the coral hue of dreams? Dye some ivory eyelet embroidered fabric in your bathtub at home! This is precisely what Lois did for the skirt you see here, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

The waist is gathered and stretchy because we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible on any country rambles they may take. The garment is lined in the same material we’ve used for our blouse (which is coincidentally the perfect accompaniment to this look, in our humblest opinion). And, of course, we didn’t forget a couple of handy pockets in the side seams.

We hope you twirl your heart out in this swingy skirt that’ll go nicely with the sweetest of summer tops or your chunkiest jumper.

Things to note:

There will be some colour variations when it comes to this item. As each piece is hand-dyed, no two skirts are the same. Personally, we love that!

Additionally, we've made this collection with entirely zero waste! Part of this process was utilising every bit of fabric possible, including the selvage on the embroidered fabric. As the selvage isn't even across the entire roll of fabric, the waistbands of these skirts will vary ever so slightly item to item.

The elastic used in the waistband of this picnic-perfect piece has 200 percent stretch (basically, a whole lot of stretch capacity!). We've opted for the mid-stetch point, meaning the skirt will be tight enough to stay up, but also relaxed enough that you'll hopefully feel quite comfortable in it all day long.

Our skirts are designed to be knee-skimming, but if you'd like yours a bit shorter, please don't hesitate to email us. For sizes 1XL to 4XL, length is 24 to 25 inches. For sizes 5XL to 8XL, it's 26-28 inches.

Michelle wears a size 1XL (UK 20/22).

Marie wears a 3XL (UK 24/26).
